| The Q-Pak heater is ideal for heating air streams when the products of combustion can be mixed with the process air stream. In this heater, the burner is mounted inline in the flow path of the combustion air. As the process air flows over the burner, it supplies the combustion air necessary for the burner to operate. If the air flow is not sufficient to maintain burner operation, an external blower can be supplied. Fuel is piped into the burner, where it mixes with the combustion (process) air. The resultant flame heats the air stream with very high efficiencies. | |||||||||||||||||||

A Q-Pak heater is being tested prior to shipment. The burner is inside the flange on the side of the heater at the top. On top of the heater is the blower, and the bottom flange is the discharge. This is connected to the customer duct work. Notice that the control panel is skid mounted, and can be located away from the heater. |
